Bubble Cloud

A fun and interactive bubble cloud experience, built from scratch but it ended up kind of complex:

Key Features:

• Gravity: Bubbles gently drift towards the center due to a subtle gravity effect.
• Interaction: Interact with the bubbles! Drag and drop them around the screen.
• Size: Bubble size reflects the magnitude (absolute value) of its associated value. Larger values, whether positive or negative, result in larger bubbles.
• Color: Bubble color indicates the sign of the value: green for positive, red for negative. The intensity of the color also corresponds to the magnitude.
• Text Size: Text size within each bubble scales with the bubble's size, making text larger for values further from zero.
• Boundaries: Bubbles are contained within the view area and cannot be dragged outside the boundaries.
• Responsiveness: The visualization is responsive: the number of bubbles adjusts automatically based on screen width, ensuring a good experience on both mobile devices and large displays (showing up to 50 bubbles).
